Welcome to Ventspils

Organization of one of the stages of the FIA European Rally Championship in Ventspils is both a great honor and a challenge. It is an honor to the Ventspils City that its potential is considered and evaluated as suitable for the venue of the European level international competition. And it is a challenge to the professional readiness, skills and responsibility of the city services to contribute in successful organization of the event.

Alignment with the international circles in different areas of city life and work organization is an ambition worthy of the Ventspils City. This event makes us to improve our skills, to develop our knowledge and to learn from the experience of other’s and from co-operation and not to sink in self-contentment. The inhabitants of Ventspils are hospitable people — good rest and pleasant mood will be guaranteed! I wish to all rally participants an outstanding individual performance, but to the spectators — an exciting competition!
