FIA European Rally Championship (ERC) classification after Leg 2 promises fierce battle between the Irish Craig Brin / David Moinihanu (Peugeot 207 S2000) and Finnish representatives Jari Ketomaa / Kaj Luidström (Ford Fiesta RRC).

Competitors of Rally Liepāja-Ventspils will have a selection of tires available as DMACK will provide their 205/65-R15 DMG-ICE Studded tires for the event.

The official event organizer — the Association RA Motosport — today confirmed that the second round of the European Rally Championship 2013 will take place from 1st till 3rd February in Latvia. Rally Liepāja-Ventspils will be not only the second round of the European Rally Championship, but also the first two rounds of the Latvian Rally Championship. Along the snow-covered roads of Kurzeme both the foreign and the local sportsmen will have to cover stages with the total length of 240 km.
